ETA Fiber To The Antenna (FTTA) is the historical name for ETA's stand-alone antenna-site fiber certification; ETA's competency outline now describes the credential as Fiber To Any Antenna (FTAA) and notes that FTAA is the more apt title after training and competency recognition. The certification is for individuals trained to install fiber optic cabling at wireless and cellular installations, including pre-terminated fiber optic transmission cable assemblies and connection devices onto equipment and antennas wherever the antenna system is located.

ETA Press lists FTTA as a stand-alone certification with maintenance required, a 4-year term, hands-on required, 75 questions, a 75% passing score, and 2 hours allowed to test. The FTAA competency outline states that a special course, fee, and hands-on exam from an ETA-approved school are required prerequisites before the knowledge exam.
