ETA Information Technology Security (ITS) exam help guide

ETA Information Technology Security (ITS) is an ETA International certification for cybersecurity professionals with previous knowledge of basic IT security fundamentals, including network security operations, computer security, installation, troubleshooting, disaster prevention planning, upgrade procedures, and recovery procedures. ETA notes that prior knowledge and certification with NST, CST, NCT, or equivalent credentials is highly suggested.

ETA Press lists ITS as a Journeyman or Stand-Alone certification with maintenance required, a 4-year term, no hands-on requirement, 100 questions, a 75% passing score, and 2 hours allowed to test. ETA's 2024 competency outline identifies major knowledge, skills, and standards for developing security plans and IT/cybersecurity processes.
