NBDE Part I and Part II are retired; current candidates use INBDE exam help

The Joint Commission on National Dental Examinations (JCNDE) states that the Integrated National Board Dental Examination (INBDE) replaced the National Board Dental Examination (NBDE) Part I and Part II examinations. JCNDE describes the INBDE as a written cognitive examination for dental licensure that helps state boards evaluate whether candidates have the clinical skills needed to safely practice entry-level dentistry. JCNDE's timeline states that the first official scored INBDE administration was made available on August 1, 2020, the last administration of NBDE Part I took place on July 31, 2020, and the last administration of NBDE Part II took place in 2022. Older NBDE search intent should therefore be treated as historical. Current candidates should prepare for the INBDE, which integrates basic, behavioral, and clinical sciences and is delivered at Prometric test centers operated as authorized vendors for JCNDE and ADA Department of Testing Services.
