North Carolina Bar Exam guide exam help

The North Carolina Board of Law Examiners administers the Uniform Bar Examination. NCBLE states that North Carolina's passing score is 270 out of 400 total UBE points and that the UBE consists of the MBE, MEE, and MPT. North Carolina application guidance lists a minimum MPRE score of 80 for general applicants. NCBLE also states that beginning with the February 2023 North Carolina Bar Examination, all applicants must take the written portion of the exam, the MPT and MEE, using a personal laptop computer with software designated by the Board unless granted an ADA testing accommodation.

NCBLE's ExamSoft instructions identify the Board's ExamSoft homepage and require applicants to complete laptop registration during the registration period, pay the laptop fee, download the software sent by email, install Examplify on the laptop used for the bar exam, and complete and return two mock exams before the published deadline. NCBLE also recommends removing old ExamSoft versions before downloading the current software. North Carolina announced that it will administer the NextGen UBE beginning in July 2028. NCBE currently lists North Carolina's minimum passing NextGen UBE score as 620 and says North Carolina will accept transferred NextGen scores beginning July 2026, with a jurisdiction-specific admission prerequisite. NCBLE states that starting with the NextGen launch, applicants by examination and UBE transfer will need to complete a North Carolina Component Exam on Decedents' Estates and Trusts.
