Pharmacy school exams guide exam help

ExamSoft's current pharmacy benchmark offering is created in partnership with McGraw Hill and includes two assessments for pharmacy schools. The Pre-APPE Readiness Assessment, or PARA, helps programs evaluate student readiness for Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences and support accreditation through performance insights benchmarked against national comparison data. ExamSoft states that PARA is written by pharmacy clinicians in academia and is available through ExamSoft without a separate exam registration or third-party proctoring process.

PARA reporting includes a Strengths and Opportunities Report comparing individual performance with national benchmarks, a student percentile rank across a national sample, and a Summary Report comparing cohort performance by key categories. ExamSoft lists key categories such as Bloom's Taxonomy, NAPLEX topic areas, ACPE required elements of the didactic doctor of pharmacy curriculum, the ACCP Pharmacotherapy Toolkit, and other concepts. ExamSoft states that PARA content aligns closely with ACPE standard 25.8 for APPE preparedness and includes a 200-question assessment that mirrors NAPLEX question types.

The P1 Readiness Assessment is designed to identify at-risk students early in PharmD programs by evaluating foundational knowledge needed for first-year success. ExamSoft describes it as delivered through ExamSoft, covering calculations, basic and clinical sciences, critical reading and writing, and social-administrative sciences through a modified Delphi blueprint. The P1 assessment is listed as a 125-question exam pre-tagged to Bloom's Taxonomy, ACPE Appendix 1 topics, and other blueprint categories. Students should follow their pharmacy school's Examplify, device, download, proctoring, remediation, and benchmark-report release instructions for each local assessment.
