Texas BLE states that July 2026 laptop software registration will occur in June 2026. Applicants who properly apply for and register a laptop use ILG Exam360 for the MPT and MEE sessions.
BLE general instructions require laptop users to bring an extension cord, avoid laptop bags and sleeves in the secure area, leave the laptop at the assigned seat during lunch, and launch Exam360 immediately after opening the laptop.
Passing the UBE is only one part of Texas licensure. BLE lists additional requirements within five years of passing, including character and fitness, MPRE 85 or higher, the Texas Law Course, Rule 2(a)(5) requirements, and the oath.
